The fact that got to the Champions League Finals was amazing and a surprise itself, but the team absolutely topped that and actually won the title.

We started the game with strong play and took the lead in the first minute with the goal of Mezei. Olympiacos was able to equalize, but we responded quickly with 2 goals. The score was 3-1 before the 1st break.

In the second quarter, Olympiacos opened the scoring, but we didn’t wait long with the attacking either and were leading 5-2 by the 10th minute. The second quarter was just as good as the first one and at half-time, we had a 3-goal advantage (8-5).

We weren’t the luckiest at the start of the 3rd quarter. We missed a penalty and let Olympiacos score two goals. In the best moment, Mitrovic scored and we secured our lead again. We really needed this goal. Vogel Soma had a very important save and from the counterattack Younger scored the 10th Fradi goal of the game (10-7).

The 4th quarter was full of mistakes from our side and Olympiacos used that and were able to score 3 goals and even the scoreline. The suspense was building up and the game continued with penalties. We were the better team in the penalty shootout and with the save of Vogel Soma and the penalty goals of Sedlmayer, Younger, Jaksic and Jansik we won the game.
