After Csíkszereda has won over Újpest, it became officion that the men’s ice hockey team from our club, FTC-Telekom became champions after 22 years again.
The last time we celebrated the championship title was in 1997 and in the classic final structure, in OB I, the predecessor of MOL/Erste League, in season 1999/2000.
Since OB I in Erste League today is an integrated league, the icing on the cake will be the final of the final, against Csíkszereda.
So far this season has been beyond all expectations: we are champions for the 26th time, collected a bronze in the Hungarian Cup, and have the chance to win the Erste League for the first time.
