Ferencvárosi Torna Club believes in the crucial societal role of CSR, that is why we’ve been helping wherever we can for years. Since 2014, we’ve been cooperating with the Hungarian Interchurch Aid and now we organized another event together. With the support of PENSIO Hungary catering the stars of FTC gave warm lunch, fruit, sweets, and tea to 300 people in need.
Our football players, Dibusz Dénes, Lovrencsics Gergő, Leandro de Almeida, Bőle Lukács, Sigér Dávid, Varga Roland, Abraham Frimpong, Marcel Heister and our head coach Sergei Rebrov, as well as Verrasztó Evelyn, Verrasztó Dávid, Bácsi Péter, Galambos Tibor, Lisztes Krisztián, Köböl Anita, Várkonyi Attila (Dj Dominique) and Náksi Attila all helped in giving out the food.
“As Fradi supporters it is our duty to help those in need and we’ve been trying as hard as we can to help with social issues. Ferencváros has always paid attention to the disabled, Fair Play, and the battle against exclusion; FTC has always been and will always be at the forefront of these initiatives. The Hungarian Olympic Committee honored Fradi with the Fair Play Award twice.” Said Nyíri Zoltán, Executive Vice President of FTC.
“We met very nice people today and besides giving the food, talking a little with them was also important. It was touching to see how happy they were that famous Fradi athletes themselves were serving the food. I hope, we made their day a bit nicer. I think it is our duty to give some love back we get from people, the fans.” Said our goalkeeper, Dibusz Dénes.
