Victory over MTK
Ferencváros won 3-1 away to MTK in the seventh round of the championship.

Our 35-time champions men's football team played at home to MTK in the 7th round of the championship. Our team started with Dibusz - Makreckis, Cissé, Raul Gustavo, Ramírez - Rommens, Ben Romdhane, Kehinde - Zachariassen, Traoré - Varga B. in the away leg.

First half

Ferencváros started the match with an advantage in the field, but it didn't show in chances. Only one weak attempt each from Ben Romdhane and Bognár was registered in the first 13 minutes. Shortly afterwards, MTK were awarded a penalty after a home counterattack, Bognár got behind the ball and shot into the bottom right corner, Dibusz could not save (1-0). In the 20th minute, Kehinde came close to equalising, but he missed the goal. Then in the 25th minute, Barnabás Varga rose perfectly from a Makreckis cross and his header flew just inside the goal (1-1). Nine minutes later, Varga's header was inches wide of the left post. In the 42nd minute, we had a free kick from a good position: Rommens' ball found its way between the gaping line of the wall and just missed the goal. However, two minutes later we turned the game around (1-2) with a well-placed strike from Raul Gustavo.

Second half

In the 63rd minute Bognár's free-kick was saved by Dibusz with great skill. After that we made two substitutions, Habib Maiga replaced Ben Romdhane, while Saldanha replaced Kehinde. A few minutes later Bognár shot again, but Dibusz held the ball. In the 76th minute we freshened up the team. Eldar Civic replaced Ramírez, while Endre Botka replaced Makreckis. Three minutes later, Saldanha had a chance but Demjén saved, but the Brazilian striker did not miss the next shot (1-3). Kady Borges came on for Traoré in the dying minutes. Nonetheless, the result remained the same, our team won the match 3-1.
