ÚJPEST - FERENCVÁROS 0-6
Boli's double was followed by goals from Zachariassen, Traoré, Auzqui and Ryan Mmaee in a 6-0 derby win.

After a midweek win against Vasas, defending Hungarian champions and cup winners Ferencváros visited Újpest in the 7th round of the OTP Bank League. Our head coach Stanislav Cherchesov made several changes to the starting eleven from Wednesday's game, so the eleven of Dibusz - Wingo, S. Mmaee, Kovacevic, Civic - Vécsei, Laidouni - Zachariassen, Mercier, Traoré - Boli took the field at the Szusza Ferenc Stadium.

First half

Our team started the game and from the first second they played more proactive than the home team, who could only keep the ball for a short time. The first serious situation did not come until the eighth minute, when Wingo, after a great change of pace, shot the ball into the middle of the box and Kristoffer Zachariassen came on to score the first goal for Ferencváros (0-1).

After the goal, the game levelled out, with neither side able to break through the other's defence, so it was mainly a battle in the box. In the 17th minute, Kastrati was left on the ground, the medical crew arrived, but the signal came that he could not continue, and Bjelos took his place. Two minutes later came the first home shot, but Dibusz had no problems blocking it.

Less than two minutes later our team threatened again, but this time Wingo's cross was cleared by the defence. In the 24th minute, Adama Traoré was on the attack, got the ball inside the opponent's penalty area and passed to Boli, who calmly slotted into the empty goal (0-2). After Laidouni's deep cross, our Malian winger centred, but the sliding defender saved from Boli.

In the 32nd minute, Civic won the ball after a bad pass from Újpest, the ball finally found Traoré, who launched a stunning shot into the short top corner (0-3) - Pajovic was helpless. The reply could have come almost immediately, but after Dibusz's superb save, FTC held on to a three-goal lead. In the last seconds of the half, the video referee indicated a possible penalty, the referee reviewed the incident and awarded Fradi with the penalty. Boli stood behind the ball and the Ivorian shot mercilessly into the net (0-4).

No further goals were scored in the first half and we went into the break with a confident 4-0 lead.

Second half

We made two changes at the break, Xavier Mercier was replaced by new signing Amer Gojak and Kristoffer Zachariassen was replaced by Carlos Auzqui! The 33-time Bosnian national team midfielder was making his first appearance for Ferencváros.

The first chance fell to the visitors, but Tallo's shot missed the target. We didn't have to wait long for our chance either, but our attempt missed Pajovic's goal. Moments later, Antonov threatened from outside the penalty area, but his shot to the top left was inches wide. In the 57th minute we made two substitutions: Tokmac and Besic came on, the former replacing Traore and the latter Laidouni.

In the 65th minute, after a left-wing combination, Tokmac rolled the ball towards the goal with two defenders on his heels, his shot went wide and Boli could not reach it. Less than a minute later, Auzqui made no mistake and scored the fifth goal for Ferencváros (0-5). In the 72nd minute, the double for Boli was replaced by Ryan Mmaee.

In the 80th minute, the home side made a double substitution, but it didn't help them, and in the 89th minute, Ryan Mmaee confidently shot from the centre of the penalty area, following a great cross from the right, into the net (0-6).

Ferencváros won 6-0 at home to arch-rivals Újpest to not only top the league table, but also extend their unbeaten run against the purple and white since December 2015.
