On Saturday night FTC played an intense and versatile match against MTK. It has been the first time for Mmaee and Dvali as center defenders and the debut of Kharaishvili. In the first half the supporters saw a quick play with high Fradi dominance. Zubkov has been lately a bit silent but definitely not today: he scored a huge goal already in the first minute and his second, somewhat smaller but not less smart in the 23rd.
The beginning of the 2nd half was MTK’s: they started playing more aggressively and by the 60th minute equalized. The equalizer was scored by our former player, Varga, who did not miss his chance form a penalty. In the 80th minute Fradi also received a penalty but Mak’s poor shot was stopped by Mijatovic. In the end of the match the result remained unchanged and we left the Hidegkuti Nándor Stadium with one point. Since Puskás was defeated in the afternoon, our advantage is now 15 points in OTP Bank League.
