Tonight we played the match of the year against Ludogoretz. This has been the last match of the UEFA Europa League Group stage where we needed a win to go through. The two teams were completely equal on the pitch, and our players were even more initiative. In the first half we could have received a penalty when a home player touched the ball with his arm inside the penalty area. The referee’s whistle stayed silent and from the counter attack Ludogorets scored. This shocked us a bit but still created chance after chance: we had several corners, chances and hit the bar with a shot. Nothing worked out, only in the very last minute when Sihnevich headed the ball to the net. It was enough for a draw but we would have needed a win.
This way we closed the group stage as third with one win and four draws. This has been a memorable fall for our team.
