Laidouni-goal and win over Leverkusen
With a nice win and three points Ferencvaros say farewell to the international games for the season.

Ferencváros played its last game in the UEFA Europa League today, we finished the campaign against Bayer Leverkusen. Although several players stayed at home from the German team’s regular starting XI, Peter Stöger’s team needed to concentrate throughout the match anyways.

After a less successful run in the group, our team wanted to cheer the Fradi supporters with a nice result and played in an offensive manner from the start of the match. Today we played strong both in defense and offense: we had several chances  but Dibusz and the defense also needed to stay focused to keep the clean sheet. In the 56th minute the cold inside the stadium turned even colder when Paulinho finished an attack.Luckily, his goal was annulled due to an offside and the teams continued from 0-0. In the last 30 minutes we built attack after attack and a goal was in the air. Then, in the 81st minute the stadium exploded when Zubkov assisted Laidouni perfectly who finished the opportunity with a nice header. (1-0) In the last ten mintues both teams had their chances but we kept the lead and won the match against the current third of the Bundesliga.

With a very nice result and three points, Ferencváros say farewell to UEFA Europa League for this season.
