KNOCK-OUT AGAIN
Ferencváros is one step away from the Champions League Group Stage after defeating Dinamo Zagreb 2-1.

Ferencváros has a fantastic run this season in the Champions League qualifiers. We first won over Djurgarden from Sweden, then beat Celtic in Scotland. Our run continued tonight against Dinamo Zagreb, a team that we could not win against last summer in the qualifiers. Everything was different today: we already scored in the 2nd minute. Captain Lovrencsics finished an attack after Tokmac’s crossing. We controlled the game after the goal as well, but with an unfortunate touch from Uzuni, Dinamo equalized in the 22nd minute.

We continued with at least as much dedication as before the equalizer which brought its result. Our defense was strong and our strikers were fast when creating attacks, showing dribbles and when they needed to run past their defenders. In the 65th minute, Uzuni scored on the other side as well: he took the ball from his defender and ran towards the goal and finished with a calm pass into the net (2-1). In the remaining minutes, we still controlled the game, although the pressure increased from Dinamo. In the end, this did not change anything, we won with a confident play and a 2-1 final result. Ferencváros won over Dinamo and continue in the Champions League play-off.
