Last Tuesday Ferencváros won 2-0 over Zalgiris Vilnius in Budapest. Today, Peter Stöger’s team travelled for the second leg on Monday and prepared for a match on artificial turf. This match has been the debut of the young Hungarian talented Dominik Csontos but also the first time starting for Kristoffer Zachariassen.
The match flew in a calm pace with some chances on both ends. Soon before half time, Ryan Mmaee took the lead for Fradi who in the second half first extended the lead from a counter attack, then was very close to actually scoring a hat trick. In extra time the enthusiastic local supporters could celebrate a home goal from a corner situation, then, one minute later, Robert Mak finished the match with a nice individual attack and goal.
With this result, Ferencváros advanced to the next round with a 5-1 aggregate result. In the third qualification round of Champions League, Ferencváros meets Slavia Praha, first in Budapest on August 4th. This is then the third year in a row when Ferencváros will play in the group stage of one of the European Cup series.

Pesics scored two goals, Maiga and Raul Gustavo one each in the 4-0 win against Kecskemét.
Ferencváros put up a great fight and Pesic scored to win 1-0 at home to DVSC.
Pesic scored in the 80th minute and Saldanha in the 84th minute in a 2-2 draw against Győr.
After 3-3 in normal time, Zachariassen's goal in extra time was the winner in the Cup.
Abu Fani, Makreckis and Ben Romdhane scored in the 3-1 win in Székesfehérvár.
Our men's football team lost 3-0 to Viktoria Plzen, and said goodbye to the UEL.
Ferencváros lost 2-0 to Paks in the 20th round of the championship.
The winning goal in the first match of the playoff match was scored by our midfielder Mohammed Abu Fani.
