FTC – FC Barcelona 0-3
Three-goal defeat from Barcelona on the last Champions League home match.

Ferencváros Budapest was hosting tonight its last home game in the UEFA Champions League for this year. The opponent was FC Barcelona who beat us 5-1 in Barcelona a little over one month ago. The opponents showed in the first half that they definitely are one of the world’s best teams and before long took a 3-0 lead. Koeman’s team created a chain of attacks and first Griezmann finished an attempt, then Dembelé scored two more goals, the second one from a penalty. In the second half Ferencváros came up and played more evenly against Barcelona. Although we had our chances and the substitutes brought more initiative and new energy to the pitch, we did not manage to score today, but Barcelona did not extend further its lead either.

Although we left the pitch with a defeat today, the most important match is yet to come against Dynamo Kiev next week. The winner of that match will go to the Europa League spring rounds.
