Our 32-time Hungarian defending champions visited Puskás Akadémia in the 26th round of NB I. Our head coach Stanislav Cherchesov opted for a starting line-up of Dibusz - Besic, Blazic, S. Mmaee, Civic - Loncar, Esiti - Zubkov, Tokmac, Auzqui - R. Mmaee. Before the kick-off whistle, the Pancho Arena crowd commemorated József Raduly, the oldest former Hungarian national team footballer, who passed away on 21 March at the age of 94.
First half
We were in front of the Puskás goal as early as the third minute, but neither Ryan Mmaee nor Auzqui could complete the job. Immediately afterwards, there was a big scramble in front of our goal, but we finally got a free kick out. Four minutes later, a corner was headed over by Dibusz. In the 13th minute, Baluta's free kick was also over. Three minutes later, Zubkov made a superb pass to Ryan Mmaee, who found himself in position and fired narrowly wide of the target from close range. The breakthrough came in the 19th minute, when Zubkov's cross was set up by Tokmac for Esiti, who fired a superb volley into the net from inside the penalty area (0-1)!
Just past the half-hour mark, Dibusz moved well out of his goal to save a set-piece. Zsolt Nagy then received a yellow card after hitting Auzqui's head in an unfortunate situation, and Dibusz easily took a header from a corner. At the start of the 33rd minute, Zubkov's long-range effort was wide of the target. In first-half stoppage time, we led a counter-attack: Loncar broke forward and passed to Zubkov, who would have found Ryan Mmaee, but the home goalkeeper Balázs Tóth got the ball. We went into the break with a one-goal lead.
Second half
At the start of the second half Dibusz's reflexes were tested again, and immediately afterwards Loncar came on to bring Zubkov into play, the ball was played out to Ryan Mmaee, who doubled our lead (0-2) with a great shot! Three minutes later, however, Puskás equalised with a close-range header from Kozák (1-2). Then a corner gave Puskás Akadémia the equalizer, although Stronati's goal was disallowed for touching the ball with his arms, but was eventually ruled valid (2-2). Stanislav Cherchesov made his first substitution in the 58th minute, with Zachariassen and Vécsei coming on and Auzqui and Loncar leaving the pitch. A minute later Dibusz had to defend again.
In the 68th minute, Ryan Mmaee headed in from the corner of the penalty area and fired in after two adjustments, but his attempt missed the target by inches. In the same minute we made a substitution, Samy Mmaee was replaced by Kovacevic. Five minutes before the end of normal time, Vécsei sent a ball forward with a great vision, but Zubkov's effort was saved by the netminder. In the 89th minute Zubkov came off and Botka replaced him.
The result did not change in the closing minutes, and although our team led by two, they left Felcsút with one point. Our advantage over Puskás Akadémia at the top of the table remains seven points.
