Our football team renewed the contract with the 19-year-old András Csonka who already won a Hungarian Championship title and the Hungarian Cup with Ferencváros.
Csonka was just 17 years old when he made his debut in our professional football team in the Hungarian Cup semi-final against Budafok in May 2017. In that season we were able to acquire the Hungarian Cup.
He first played in the Hungarian Championship in the 2017/18 season against Videoton. Last season Sergei Rebrov put him on the pitch several times, he played on five Hungarian Championship and five Cup matches, he was also part of the historic 30th championship title. Besides all that, he played for the U19 team too and has scored three goals during eight games.
Thanks to the dual game license, our young player is able to play for and train with Fradi, while also playing for Soroksár in the NB II for more time on the pitch. Csonka played on our successful game against Zalaegerszeg as well as against Iváncsa and BKV Előre in the Hungarian Cup. He also gained experience on 11 games in the NB II with Soroksár.
Csonka was a player of the U16, U17, U18, and U19 Hungarian national team. Zoltán Gera also counts on him to be part of the U21 team. He also experienced the European Championship with the U17 team, where they marched to the quarter-finals.
