Our new head coach, Dejan Stankovic, is familiar with both Serbian side Cukaricki and the recent silver medallists of the series, Italian side Fiorentina, thanks to his previous experience. Stankovic has played six games as a coach against Cukaricki, with six wins to his name, while he no won game yet against Fiorentina.
The Fradi fans can cheer on the team against prestigious teams like Fiorentina, as they are two-time Italian league gold medallists, winners of the CEC, six Italian Cup and Italian Super Cup. The €249.60 million (approx. HUF 95.85 billion) club were silver medallists in the 2022/23 ECL competition.
Fiorentina's ECL final against English West Ham
According to Transfermarkt, the leading news portal on the football market, Argentina's Nicolás González is the club's most valuable player, with an estimated market value of €30 million (around HUF 11.52 billion). On the final day of the transfer season, Morocco's Sofyan Amrabat joined the 20-time English champions, while AC Milan have loaned Champions League winner Luka Jovic from Real Madrid. However, Fiorentina still have players such as Spanish champions Arthur Melo and Yerry Mina, who have been with Barcelona for years.
Belgian side Genk have won the domestic championship four times, most recently in the 2018/19 season. They are also five-time Belgian Cup winners (most recently in 2020/21) and two-time Belgian Super Cup winners. The total value of the team is €111.95 million (approx. HUF 42.99 billion), with Bilal El Khannouss the most valuable player with a value of €13 million (approx. HUF 4.992 billion). On the imaginary podium is a player who needs little introduction to Fradi fans: Joseph Paintsil. The Ghanaian striker joined Ferencváros in the 2017/18 season. In that time, he scored 10 goals in 25 league games, including a wonder goal for Fehérvár, before which he turned Hungarian international Attila Fiola memorably.

We will start against our third group opponent, Cukaricki from Serbia in Group F. Igor Matic's side are valued at €23 million (around HUF 8.83 billion) by Transfermarkt, while three players are up for the club's most valuable player award, with captain Marko Docic, 30, right winger Samuel Owusu and left winger Nemanja Tosic also valued at €2 million (around HUF 768 million).
In contrast, the FTC squad is valued at €46.95 million (around HUF 18 billion) by the German portal. Our most valuable player is recently returned crowd favourite Cristian Ramírez, who is valued at €5 million (HUF 1.92 billion) by Transfermarkt.
The good news: the three-match season ticket price has been set at the price of a Hungarian league match!
FTC started selling season tickets for the three matches on Tuesday, September 5 - the first condition to buy a season ticket is still the possession of a Fradi Supporter Card! Supporters with a league season ticket can secure their seats for home ECL matches with a 20% discount. The seats of our supporters with a supporters' season ticket will be reserved for three days from the start of the season ticket sales until midnight on Thursday 7 September, after which they will be released. They can of course buy a season ticket for any of the general public sectors.
Important information: purchased season tickets are not transferable and - unlike the championship matches - there are no student, pensioner or family discounts for group matches! A supporter card is required to purchase season tickets. Please note that, unlike in the championship, tickets must be purchased for everyone, including children under the age of six!
