Head coach Rebrov made several changes in his line up compared to last Saturday’s derby against Újpest, today many players received an opportunity to play who had fewer chances lately. After winning the league already last week, our team was given the guard of honor, while we celebrated Roland Juhász who retires at the end of the season.
The match was evenly balanced but the home team was more initiative: Gróf needed to show several saves but in the 45th minute he could not stop the retiring Juhász’ penalty shot. After half time we aimed at equalizing quickly but it did not work out this time. Towards the end of the match head coach Rebrov sent in two youth players – Csontos Dominik and Ammar Ramadan who could this way experience what a prestigious match is like on the pitch. The result did not change in the remaining minutes, we closed today’s match with a close win.
