CEBRAIL MAKRECKIS CONTINUES HIS CAREER AT FTC
Our team has signed the 23-year-old midfielder from Pirin Blagoevgrad.

Another player has been signed by our 34-time men's football champions. Latvian-Moroccan national Cebrail Makreckis, born on 10 May 2000 in Aachen, Germany, will continue his career with us. Makreckis started his football career in Bayer Leverkusen's youth team and played on loan for Bergisch Gladbach in the 2017/18 season. He then spent another year with his boyhood club before moving to Bonner SC in 2019.

Between 2020 and 2022, he played 27 games for Borussia Dortmund's second team, scoring one goal. His last club in Germany was third-division Viktoria Berlin before joining Bulgarian Premier League side Pirin Blagoevgrad in the summer of 2022.

Makreckis made 24 appearances for Pirin, who finished 13th in the Bulgarian league, last season. The player, who can play both in the middle and on the wings, has worn the Latvian U19 jersey seven times and scored one goal for the national team.
