Our men’s football team has won the 31st championship title already against Honvéd on Tuesday. Tonight our supporters could return to the stadium without restrictions and they prepared for a celebration both for the championship and another victory over Újpest.
Before the match our champion ladies’ team took a celebration round in the arena, they also won the league earlier this week. Despite the celebration during the week, our players ran on to the pitch with maximum concentration and with the only goal to win. Our Budapest derby specialist Franck Goli scored for the third time this season against Újpest in the 53rd minute. In the second half we had several one on one chances and if it had not been for the Újpest goalkeeper, we would have claimed another high-scale win. Regardless the missed opportunities, the result did not change, we won again and the team and supporters finished with a memorable joint celebration.
