The World Health Day is an opportunity to focus global attention on certain diseases, of which the prevention, development and treatment can be greatly facilitated by providing a wide range of appropriate information. On the occasion of this special day, our Club delivered Scoring for Health sessions for 5 classes and about 120 pupils of the Kossuth Lajos Primary School. One of the main objectives of the programme is to address the issue of childhood obesity, which is a critical problem across Europe, according to the World Health Organization. The Scoring for Health programme aims to promote healthy lifestyles, healthy nutrition and regular physical activity among 7-14 year olds. During the programme, coaches and nutritionists from Ferencváros provide interactive and physical activity sessions for our young participants.
World Health Day is also highlighted during the More than Football international campaign week, so Ferencváros is keen to emphasise the importance of this initiative.
