As part of the European Day of Care project, FTC occasionally presents the inspiring story of a former elite athlete who has proven his worth not only as an athlete but also in civilian life. The importance of the project and its details were also discussed on the 2019 Career Day of FTC at the Groupama Arena.
One of the primary goals is for clubs to not only be proud of their icons during their athletic careers but also beyond that, to make the transition of athletes to a civilian career as smooth as possible.
The European Day of Care project is co-financed by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Sport Program. The club’s partners are Lazio from Italy, Sporting from Portugal, Mladost from Croatia and Tampere Pyrinto from Finland.
Bálint Máté, the international project manager of FTC was the guest on Sport TV.
On November 15, the FTC Career Day was held at the Groupama Arena with the participation of former athletes.
